LONDON MIDNIGHT RUNNERS

Last Tuesday Dan and I joined the London Midnight Runners for a strengthen & stretch session in Hyde Park, led by one of my favourite insta fit gals, Adrienne! I’d had a bit of a wash out of an afternoon so getting outside to train on a beautiful day and with a load of happy, positive souls was just what I needed. Saturday morning saw me down at ‘Ugly Duck’ in Bermondsey ready to partake in some seriously bendy behaviour… aka yoga! A little bit about the space… Ugly Duck, a previously empty 19th century warehouse (known until recently, simply as 47/49 Tanner Street) has been given a new lease of life by a group of individuals passionate about injecting life into somewhat unloved and unused spaces. I totally agree that this is especially important in overcrowded cities such as London, where space really is of a premium. MIND BODY BOWL’S YOGA BREAKFAST

So yesterday I was lucky enough to attend the lovely Annie’s (of Mind Body Bowl) yoga breakfast event… What a great concept! She had a whole bunch of super cool girls gathered together in a super cool location (Celestine Eleven) and then she brought in the yoga fairy extraordinaire – Steffy White, to lead us on an hour of fun but challenging (read… schhhwweeeatttyyyy!) vinyasa flow. (FYI If you’re looking for a new yoga class to try I would reeeeally recommend one of Steffy’s, that gal is a gem! As real as real can be, super approachable and bloody good…
