A clever footwear choice is all but essential for wandering around the French Riviera, especially when traversing Mougin’s crazy steep hills! These uber cool Nike fly knits from F L Y B E R Y were really the only option! They fit like a glove (or, a sock!) and keep my feet (and knees!) happy whilst looking super stylish, all at the same time. Well played, Nike. Well played.  I’m totally eying them up in other colours too…

Relaxing poolside at the stunning Les Rosees today, the other half has come down with a stinking cold so we’re taking things even easier than planned. It isn’t exactly a hardship! 😉 This. Is. The. Beach bum in Cesenatico

It’s rest day over at the Annual Personal Best Tri Camp so team Break The Loop (including the doggles!) have relocated to the beach, situated rather handily, about 20 metres from the hotel Beau Soleil. On paper this particular area probably isn’t somewhere we would usually choose to visit however there really is something super charming about this little coastal town, Cesenatico. It’s unassuming retro vibes, awesome cycling and overall ‘family fitness’ focus, friendly locals and the fact that it’s super quiet around mid May make it an amazing little retreat.
