POWER PUNCH SMOOTHIE
(Fling it all in the blender together, give it a good blast and you’re set!)
So after trying Birch Water for the first time last week, I’m officially an addict! I was a touch apprehensive about how it would taste and was honestly so surprised when I tried it and realised that it is in fact delicious!
I was very kindly sent a box of Sibberi Birch Water to try but just to be clear here, all opinions are my own and I have in no way been paid to write a review (positive or otherwise). I am posting here and on my instagram simply because I really like the product!
If you asked me what Birch Water tasted like… I really couldn’t tell you, there’s nothing similar that I can think of, to liken it to. It is however, super light and refreshing… slightly ‘woody’ water maybe?! Ah I give up! Ha!
Taste aside the health benefits seem to be vast. Not only does it contain zinc, magnesium and potassium helping us to maintain our electrolyte balance and stay well hydrated. It is also known for it’s detoxifying properties and has been used for years (by those in the know) to flush the system of toxins and maintain radiant, blemish free complexions. Where do I sign? I have been advised that it takes around 10 days of drinking 1 serving per day to notice benefits in your skin. However, due to the fact that I shared my stash with Dan, I may not have given my skin the chance it deserves… I will say this though… considering I am a bit of a hormonal mess at the moment (real talk / damn you PMS) I have had zero breakouts. Could be a coincidence but there you are.
A little birdie told me that Sibberi Birch Water will very soon be available via Ocado and Amazon as well as a whole host of health food shops around London such as Planet Organic.
Give it a try, I think you’ll like it!
