      Haha! Dan described me and my honesty last night as a ‘love heart shaped cricket bat to the head’ hahaha! Umm… whoops?! Defoe yes to the bike ride pleeeease! I’m soon to pick up my shiny new city bike so we can do a tour of London!?

    Well said !! Just written up my Festive 500 blog, I’ll share the link when I’m done, have a read it may motivate you to get out out on the bike with friends. I know it is a sore point as you had to miss it, but we have both been there and feel your pain for not being able to do it !!

      PQ how did I not know you had a blog?! Share the link immediately!? 😀 My issue with getting out on the bike is not knowing where I’m going, especially as I need to get through london to go anywhere or to come and meet you guys… I need to figure out a way around it though because at the moment I’m relying on Dan to ride at the same time as me and he’s obviously not been feeling so great. I am loving the turbo though! (I’m a weirdo, I know!)

    I did not know that you had trained for a role on Wonder Woman, that’s all kinds of awesome. I like your goals for this year, consistent is a great buzzword. That’s something I could use, I go through intense weeks of work and training, then get exhausted and end up doing nothing. Need more balance!

      Yeah, honestly though it was a minuscule role… It just involved this amazing journey that took up half a year. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!! Also, I’m exactly the same as you, I’m all or nothing! Balance is hard but we’ll get there, this year I’m determined!

      Pat, I absolutely love it! The pictures are awesome, of course! I also love the fact that it reads exactly like you would speak normally… Nice work love! You should definitely do more, if you have the time!

    I really like what you said about group workouts being fun, but not tailored to your specific needs. That’s where I’m at too… I like working with my triathlon coach so that the sessions are tailored towards me and my goals, rather than just a generic workout. Similarly, I had a stroke assessment with Swim for Tri about a year ago, and that was great for learning drills specific to me. Good luck with your 2017 goals 🙂

      Thanks love! Yeah they were great for a while, a brilliant motivator when you’re not really feeling it! It’s hard to train properly for a triathlon though and have the time to fit much else in! I’ve gotta say though, I’m really loving all the swim, bike run again though! 😀 Have you signed up for any races this year?

    Completely know what you mean about the boutique gym classes. Lots of my friends are class-passers so joining them for one offs is a good way for me to socialise with them.

    Am doing my first tri this year so have signed up for lessons at Swim to Tri! Starting in March, literally front crawl basics!

      Hi Alana, that’s awesome! They taught me to swim with that course, I can’t rate it, or them, highly enough! I did that and then went onto the develop front crawl course. Along with lots (and lots!) of masters swimming, in between. Which tri have you signed up for?
