I feel like it was literally yesterday that I was writing my June Goals post but anyway, here we are! This month has actually been a corker of a month for me, spiritually and professionally so I finally feel motivated to share some June highlights. For the better part of this year, I’ve been hanging on to a whole host of unhelpful thought patterns and emotions. I’ve been banging my head against a brick wall looking for answers as well as waiting, somewhat impatiently, for a few dream projects to finally be confirmed.
Well, here we are in July and I’m over the bloody moon to say my dream gig has finally been confirmed!! It’s all a bit hush-hush for now but just know that my excitement and gratitude levels are through the roof!! I can’t wait to get my teeth stuck into this project and I can’t wait to share it all with you guys!
Also, those questions that I’ve been asking? After months and months of asking, searching, comparing and repeatedly trying to force square pegs in round holes, I finally have the answer I’ve been looking for. So, if I disappear off the radar a bit it’s because I’m knee deep in creating something for you guys that I think (and hope) you’re going to love. For now, I’ll just say it’s a product that will help you, your ideas, your businesses to flourish and reach people in a way that you’ve always dreamed of. Sounds grandiose I know, but you’ll see what I mean very soon…
If like I was, you’re currently trying to figure out your next move and feeling totally lost and conflicted, I now know these following statements to be 100% true. (To be fair, I’ve known these things for a long while but occasionally we need the Universe to remind us, right?!)
The answers are out there, my friend. Don’t give up searching because trust me, with a little focus, they will come.
I collaborated with the awesome team at Oakley bike to take part in their Tour of London! Me + 49 other lycra clad individuals took to the streets of London (on two wheels, of course!) with none other than Bradley Wiggins. It was a brilliant day out and marked my longest ride in ages, 85km. You can see more here.
Another highlight for me was hosting our first BBQ at home. We decked out the paddock with pallet tables, blankets, fairy lights and a fire pit. I made litres (I’m actually not exaggerating) of Aperol Spritz and Dan BBQ’d enough food to feed the 5000. Even though there were a few missing, it was great to get some of my faves together for fun in the sun! We’re already planning our next shindig, an open-air movie night! Think cosy seating, projector screen under the tree, hotdogs and popcorn…
It’s gonna be epic! Who’s coming?
I know this list is fairly short but I’m going for quality over quantity, these June highlights (especially the first two) are actually 2018 highlights.
What were your June highlights? I’d love to hear them…
